Overview
This course will give learners the knowledge, skills and confidence to look after an adult or child who becomes injured or unwell in the outdoors, possibly remote from help.

- Roles and responsibilities
- Incident management
- Casualty assessment
- Evacuation
Respiratory problems:
- Choking
- Unconscious person
- Anaphylaxis
- Asthma
Cardiovascular problems:
- Bleeding
- Shock
- Cardiac arrest (CPR and AED)
Neurological problems:
- Seizures and Epilepsy
- Diabetic emergencies
- Head injuries
Musculoskeletal problems:
- Spinal injuries
- Limb and joint injuries
Environmental problems:
- Burns
- Bites and Stings
- Hypothermia
- Heat illness
- Minor injuries

Learners who successfully complete the course will be awarded an eCertificate, valid for 3 years.
