COURSE OVERVIEW

This course will give learners the knowledge, skills and confidence to look after an adult who suddenly becomes injured or unwell at work.

It enables people to be a First Aider at work in a 'low risk' workplace, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Where appropriate, the course will also cover the recognition and management of catastrophic bleeding, including the use of tourniquets and heamostatic dressings.
