COURSE OVERVIEW
This course will give learners the knowledge, skills and confidence to look after an adult or child who suddenly becomes injured or unwell at school.
It enables people to be a First Aider at work in a 'low risk' workplace, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Where appropriate, the course may also cover the recognition and management of catastrophic bleeding, including the use of tourniquets and heamostatic dressings.

CERTIFICATION
All of our courses are fully assessed and certificated to nationally recognised standards. eCertificates are valid for 3 years.
If required, this course may also lead to the QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) or the QA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF).
In this case, learners must be at least 14 years old and complete the course within 3 weeks.
